Blinds and Curtains

Curtains and blinds can either be installed separately in a window or layered for a more diverse and layered look. Window blinds are a type of window covering utilizing a variety of control systems and materials. Blinds are typically made of using several long horizontal or vertical slats of a variety of hard materials which are held together with cords that run through the slats. Window blinds can be maneuvered by operating either a manual control system or an automatic curtain opener, otherwise known as a motorized shade with remote. The slats can be rotated into an open position to let in natural light or closed to create privacy and block out unwanted light. Blinds come in myriad materials that can match any budget and style . Total Window does not specialize in the cheapest blinds, we find a solution within your budget that is a quality product that will last for years. Our team guides you through the selection process from start to finish to ensure your treatment matches your décor and light control needs and is installed properly, making us the best place to buy curtains or blinds.

Curtains can stand alone or be layered over blinds. Curtains range from sheer drapes, to black patterned curtains and everything in between. Curtains can be black out lined if room darkening is the goal, however, adding a black out roller shade with side channels allows the softness and drama of drapery with almost total room darkening ability. Sheer fabrics can be ideal as bedroom window curtains or can be layered under another opaquer fabric for added drama. Draperies can be hung on grommets, ripple folded or pinch pleated depending on the location and aesthetic desired. Total Window carries a vast assortment of drapery hardware to match any style and complete your projects
