Total Window Expands Into Marine Industry With Addition of Familiar Face
Shelley Story joins Total Window to develop Marine Division for shades and draperies.
Dania Beach, Florida (September 10, 2019) — Fort Lauderdale native, Shelley Story, has joined Total Window’s team to develop and promote their Marine Division for custom yacht window treatments. Total Window has provided yacht window treatments for interior designers over the years but has not aggressively gone after this very custom and specialized market. The addition of Ms. Story to the team will change all that.
Shelly Story had previously worked on yachts as a chef for over eight years to study their unique interior requirements. Later, she opened up her own interior design company in the 1980s specializing in custom yacht interiors. With the background in yachting and the knowledge and experience she has with over twenty-five years in the window treatment industry, Shelly makes for a great addition to the team.
Total Window’s founder, Stephen Stolow, pioneered the South Florida window treatment industry, introducing the first solar shades to the market in the 1980s. His son, Jesse, joined the company thirteen years ago after graduating from Cornell University with a degree in business. The company has a phenomenal support team in the office, along with the field supervisor and four in-house installers.
